Customer Quotes
"I just started using MotioPI, it's a very useful tool. I don’t know how I survived without it."
- Jay Katira, Purdue Pharma
"Thanks again for making such a great product. As a small time installation without much IT support, MotioPI is a great asset and allows me to do some review work I couldn’t otherwise do. THANKS!"
- Scott Taylor, Chelan County PUD
"Motio has saved our hides again! We just recovered a lost model from the content store. You guys are way toooo awesome!"
-Ellis Makoha, Cognos Administrator
"MotioPI is a fantastic tool for querying #cognos information, must have for sys admin - free from @motio_inc bit.ly/aEJhoT"
- @steelcm, Twitter
"Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your MotioPI product saved the day when a user was deleted from our Active Directory without our realizing that there were important queries and reports in his 'My Folders'. I was able to identify the orphaned entries and get them recovered using your tool. Keep up the great work."
-Elizabeth Mayfield, DRS Tech.
"I am completely amazed at all the features built into this free product. Motio PI has helped in automating the testing of reports when we make package changes. It produces a list of pass and failed reports, which can then be exported and allow the admins to look at the details why something may have failed. What a time saver! I am very interested in your other products as this tool is really top notch, and its free, and would only expect your other products to follow suit. We purchased the Cognos SDK to try and produce something similar, but we have no need to try and create our own when your product exists. You keep it current to the latest version of Cognos, which is very helpful.

MotioPI - Orphaned Objects
MotioPI™ enables Cognos administrators to locate and reclaim content that is owned by deleted Cognos users. Admins can easily search for any type of content across Public & My Folders in Cognos and quickly reassign ownership to valuable BI assets forgoing the task of re-creating otherwise lost content.
The following video demonstrates how the Orphaned Objects feature finds & reclaims orphaned BI content.
