Starting with the 2.x release of MotioCI, we will no longer be developing a free Community edition of the MotioCI software.    Existing MotioCI 1.4.x Community Edition installations will continue to be supported, and will also qualify for a special low-cost upgrade to a 2.x commercial license.

 

When we first released MotioCI Community Edition, there was no low cost option for Cognos Version Control.   With the advent of MotioCI AIR, we now have an entry level offering which can be installed and running in the Amazon cloud in minutes.   For small shops, AIR based installs also offer a much simpler upgrade and support path.
